I'm having my midlife crisis early. I bought a new car (Mazda 3 with 6-CD changer- I may never hear the news again!), quit my job, and am currently dating a younger man. Actually, I usually date younger guys so that is nothing new. But it sounds fun to say that the midlife crisis has come early.

Last month I quit the ex-job, moved, put on a one-woman show (that wasn't a success, unfortunately) and started my job as a full-time college senior for the second time. I'm back in school to learn about economics and environmental science. I think I'll be really satisfied with my career once I have science in my background. Well, at least there will be people in my future office who will recycle cans and bottles without having to be nagged!

So anyway, I am retired. Congratulate me, why don't you?
